Update September 19, 2008

I'll be traveling in Europe for four weeks soon and am experimenting with a GPS Tracker on my phone.
I've had mixed success so far, but I plan to keep trying to upload here. I also hope to be uploading photos periodically to my flickr page here, but we'll see how things go in terms of internet connectivity, etc.

Update April 8, 2008

Lutefisk Sushi C is on the way! Hooray! I recently finished my submission, chapter 2 of Ollie and the Daysleepers written by Peter Groynom. This year's Lutefisk Sushi features the unveiling of the first physical manifestation of Kevin Cannon's masterpiece, Far Arden, and will generally be an awesome event. Be sure and check out the opening on May 2nd.

Update August 28, 2007

Wow, two updates in one month! The Roe Family Singers were recently featured on Minnesota Public Radio's "Songs From Scratch". Three bands, The Owls, Matt Wilson, and The Roe Family Singers were each given lyrics and asked to write a song about them. You can see video of the Roe Family Singer's efforts here.

Update August 16, 2007

Rita and I recently collaborated on a four page tribute that will be part of a benefit anthology to help the family of our late friend Eric Lappegard. It's called Ninja Mayhem, and we're both very excited about it.

Update October 6, 2006

Hooray, more comics at last! I just printed up over 100 copies of my recent 24 hour comic book, "SafeHaven". The International Cartoonist Conspiracy has held the 24 pages in 24 hours event in Minneapolis for the last three years. This was my third time doing it. It was my first time to finish both pencilling and inking 24 pages. I did, however, not quite finish the story within the 24 pages and wound up with 29 and a still not-quite-completely sensical story. So it goes with the madness that is 24 pages in 24 hours. This is my favorite one so far, though. Copies can be had this weekend at the Fallcon, and eventually I'll get it posted here, but here's a glimpse of it in the meantime:

Update August 30, 2006

Sadly I must admit to a great deal of slacking in the comics department as of late. It has been a summer of many distractions. Among these have been lots of music making with the Roe Family Singers and Captain Yonder. I also entered a motorcycle I've been restoring in my first motorcycle show, the Bearded Lady Motorcycle Freakshow. Here are a couple pictures of "Suzumebachi" (Japanese for giant bee-hunting wasp):

Update April 10, 2006

Yet another update! Lutefisk Sushi Volume B was a great success. Pete and I's comic, "Ollie and the Daysleepers", as well as future updates can be viewed at the new Binary Eclipse website! More details available there. The Creative Electric show is up until April 22. Check it out!

Update Jan 4, 2006

I will amaze even myself if I continue to update this, but here's a tiny bit of news: I'm currently collaborating with Peter Groynom, area writer/scriptologist, on a mini-comic for 2006's "Lutefisk Sushi
Volume B", a show to be held March 24th at Creative Electric Studios in Minneapolis. The comic I made last year for the Sushi show, A biography of Sister Elizabeth Kenny, can be downloaded in PDF form (2MB) by following this link, I hope.

Update December 2005

Here's a little cartoon my company made for the holidays this year. I did all the character illustrations in illustrator and exported them (as is my wont) to someone who actually knows flash.

Super-old update from 2002 or thereabouts
